The Hairston School of Dance Philosophy

We pride ourselves on creating a family environment where everyone feels welcome and included. As soon as you walk through our doors, you’ll experience a warm atmosphere that allows everyone to fully immerse themselves in the dance experience. We understand the needs of families, which is why we provide an area for relaxation, play, and a place for students to stretch, warm up and condition.

Our goal is to be more than just a dance school – we strive to be a home away from home for our students. We want our school to be a second family, a place where students feel a sense of belonging and eagerly anticipate coming to each day. We value the importance of education, which is why we offer a dedicated space for students to do their homework, ensuring a balanced and supportive environment.

With three studios in our small school, we have the advantage of intimate class settings, allowing our instructors to provide personalized attention and guidance to each student. This intimate atmosphere also enables us to get to know our students and their families on a deeper level. We believe in building strong connections within our community and bringing families together, fostering a sense of camaraderie.
